Everyone should be building cross platform apps in languages like Flutter to reduce the damage of an Apple ban. Engineers should stop studying Swift and Objective-C in favor of cross platform dev. People need to be as vocal as possible about how powerful and dangerous Apple is.

But what if all apps coerced by Apple’s censors would get out of iOS? @telegram, @appfairness members (@Spotify, @ProtonPrivacy @EpicGames @Deezer...) censored news apps (@nytimes, @qz, @BBC ... ) and VPNs... are you sure it would have no effect at all?

So we are almost back to the same point: it's "comply or get nuked" (as put in some tweet above). Then it's about how one defines “getting nuked”. The key difference in Apple/telegram case is that @Apple is acting as the authoritarian state...or as all states at once.
